 Why have bird feeders in your garden?

There are many reasons why having bird feeders within your garden can be beneficial. The main reason why many people like having these feeders and feeding stations is because they enjoy seeing the birds. Another reason being that birds will also feast on many insects, worms and spiders, so by attracting them to your garden you will be providing your garden with a type of organic pest control.  Birds will also assist with flower pollination, so by having more around you can expect to see a more vibrant garden without having to put in as much effort.

 With the growing population of people many natural habitats have been destroyed to make way for new homes. With the destruction of these habitats the natural food supply for many creatures has been diminished.  By adding a Feeder or feeding station to your garden you could really help passing birds that may be struggling to find food, especially  in the colder months.
