Golden Gormet

These are an improved yellow shallot bulb which can be planted very early in the spring. It’s mild taste makes it perfect for pickling.

Red Gormet 

This is an improved red shallot bulb which is oval shaped and has a pink and white tinged flesh. It produces good yields, has a sweet taste and is good for storage.

Red Sun 

This is a mild red shallot bulb which is round in shape. It is perfect for salads and has a good storage life.

Yellow Moon

This new round yellow shallot bulb has excellent skin quality, this makes it highly resistant to disease and bolting.

These are mid season bulbs which are a yellow/brown colour. They are strong flavoured onion which is  good for long storage and is not susceptible bolting. 

Stur BC 20

These are late season bulbs which are a yellow/brown colour. They are slow to sprout giving them a longer storage life.

Karmen

These are early bulbs which are red in colour. They are very sweet making them perfect for salads. They also store very well.

Picko Bello

These are mid season bulbs which are a yellow/brown colour. They are a very high yielding variety and they are good for long storage.

Red Baron

These are late season bulbs which are red in colour. This variety is excellent for salads.

Sturon

These are mid season bulbs which are a yellow/brown colour. They produce a high yield and have a long storage life.

Stuttergarter 

These are early season bulbs which are a yellow/brown colour. They produce a good yield and have a long storage life.

Turbo

These are early season bulbs which are a yellow/brown colour. They are strong tasting and they store very well.

 

 

Garlic
Garlic Bulbs/Cloves

Marco (bulbs)

This garlic is known for its strong, distinctive flavour, and fine, white skin, so it is a good option if you want your cooking full of zing. It can be stored for some months if kept cool and dry, and if planted in March the cloves should be ready for harvesting in August.

Flavor (bulbs)

This garlic is slightly milder in flavor than the heat typical of most hardneck varieties, but strong enough to distinguish from mild, softneck varieties. These may all be the same variety, as they have features similar to each other and to Music. The bulbs are large with white wrappers and vague purple stripes.

Solent White (bulbs)

This is a beautifully strong flavoured soft neck garlic variety that stores extremely well. ‘Solent Wight’ is planted in either Autumn or Spring and If planted early, mature bulbs will be ready to lift and use from July.

Elephant Garlic (cloves)

This is a very large hard neck variety of garlic which can grow to around 10cm in diameter. It produces garlic with a milder taste making it very useful for a multitude of different cooking methods. They should either be planted in the spring or autumn.
